The artist Ennio receives a commission to paint a mural in a clinic. But the clinic has its own agenda: it tests treatments on artists. The opera unfolds a disturbing game of art, power, and exploitation — scored for tenor, baritone, soprano, mezzo-soprano, and a chorus of approximately 40 singers.
