Seedlings

A song cycle for soprano and baritone about the relationship between father and daughter — from ultrasound to early childhood.

Instrumentation: flute, clarinet, piano, accordion, 2 violins, viola, cello, double bass, vibraphone, percussion.

Premiered in 2015 at Terrasse Zürich with Luca Bernhard and Cinzia Zanovello, conducted by Sven Sörensen.
